On the 10th November 2014, the registered designs data of the Department of the Registrar of Companies and Official Receiver (DRCOR), which is part of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism of the Republic of Cyprus, was integrated into the DesignView database. DesignView is a fully multilingual centralised system providing access to all registered design information held by the participating National Offices, allowing users to perform searches in one common platform.

The DRCOR is the eighteenth such office to become part of DesignView. Malta joined in March 2014. The other participating offices are Bulgaria, Benelux, Czech Republic, Estonia, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia and OHIM.

Accordingly, circa 300 Cypriot designs are now accessible online via DesignView, bringing the total number of designs available via the unique search tool to almost 2.5 million.

DesignView is based on the data of the registers of the participating offices, the WIPO and the OHIM.
