On the 10th July 2014, the European Markets and Securities Authority (ESMA) published an updated set of Q&As in respect of the implementation of the European Markets Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR).
The Q&As are aimed at National Competent Authorities with a view to promoting common supervisory approaches and practices in the application of EMIR. The content of ESMA’s responses is also helpful to investors and other market participants in that it provides clarity as to the content and requirements under EMIR.
This is the 10th update of the EMIR Q&A.
ESMA’s Q&A document is available on its official website.
