On the 8th September 2014, the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM) announced that the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH) has joined the Common Harmonised Database of Goods and Services for trade mark classification.

Accordingly, the Finnish translations of the Harmonised Database are now available to users through OHIM’s TMclass application and will be of further benefit by improving predictability.

OHIM has attributed this successful harmonisation to the joint effort and collaborative work undertaken within the framework of the European Trade Mark and Design Network.
